Carer Respite Coordinator

This position support carers in Northern Sydney in their caring role by provision of information about respite options and other assistance available in the community. To assist with the organisation of short term, emergency and planned respite care.

~ Provide access for Carers to respite services in the Northern Sydney region.
~Maintain accurate information on service provision, purchase of respite care for the purpose of service consistency, service development and statistical reporting.
~Identify unmet respite service needs within the region and collaborate with respite service agencies and funding bodies to meet these needs.
~Support and resource the community in responding to carer issues.
