• develop and/or revise job profiles and identify critical skills needed for the job role using competency based framework
• Use tools to measure the difference between an individual’s actual capabilities and the required capabilities of their job roles
• identify relevant pathways into and leading on from a job role
• Understand a broad range of Vocational Education and Training and workforce development terms
• Understand how to use their relevant industry Training Package to support the development of their own workforce

Facilitator Profile
Trish Jamieson has been working with the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council (ISC) as a Project Consultant and Workshop Facilitator since 2002. Trish comes with a very high level of working knowledge of the Vocational Education & Training Sector from local, national & international perspectives gained from 16 years demonstrated experience in both VET and Adult Education.
Trish is a very experienced facilitator across a range of industries, which include community services and health, financial services, business, frontline management, retail, hospitality and more.
As the ISCs designated Facilitator for its workshops and various forums on assessment and recognition assessment, Trish has to date, conducted around 40 workshops nationally – with special emphasis on Aged Care, Disability, Youth Work, Juvenile Justice, Mental Health and Children’s Services.
In addition, Trish acts as the ISCs primary resource designer and developer for assessment tools and resources.
Other work includes:
Workshop facilitation & Design, L&D Design and Development, Skill Audit, Developing Industry Career Pathways, Implementation of VET systems, Workforce Planning/Change Management, Business Development, Technical Designing and Writing
