Elaroo Long Day Care Centre

Elaroo provides a secure, comfortable and familiar environment for people experiencing early symptoms of a dementing illness. Open weekdays 7am-7pm and Saturday 8.45am-4.15pm

The aims of the program are to assist carers of persons affected by the early stages of dementing illnesses, and to provide enjoyable programmed activities and social contact for people affected by dementing illnesses. Activities include ball games, gentle exercises, bobs, bingo, relaxation programs, knitting group, barbeques, concerts, courtyard activities, theme days and special events, bus trips ranging from Central Coast, Windsor, and Dolls Point.

Elaroo is funded through the Home and Community Care Program. A contribution fee is payable and can be negotiated.

Referrals are made directly to Elaroo and are accepted from anyone, including friends and relatives. If you would like to make a referral or like further information please contact Karen Wilson (Coordinator) on 88750919.
